Board of Trustees

James Ramsay, Chairperson
James is vicar of the local parish of St. Barnabas, Manor Park, and has experience of community partnership working in welfare rights, anti-poverty campaigns, education and regeneration initiatives, and youth work both in the UK and in Romania. He has a particular interest in the role of the arts and wider cultural life in community development.

Kevin Blowe, Treasurer
Kevin is Coordinator of the Community Involvement Unit, part of Aston-Mansfield Charity, based in Newham. He leads a team that provides advice, support and training to enable voluntary and community groups to grow and become more sustainable.  He represents the interests of the charity sector on various forums and committees, particularly in their relationship with the statutory sector.

Kenneth Gantharuban Soundarajah, Secretary
Kenneth is a music teacher who aims to make instrument tuition affordable and accessible to both young and old.  He has worked on a range of community projects including support projects for elderly and youth and Soul in the City.

Steven Brown, Member
Steven is a Social Worker for Chelsea & Kensington Borough and has been a user of Trinity for many years.  He now runs a youth club from Trinity in his spare time.

Manji Patel-Vekaria, Member
Manji is Managing Director of MP Media Services and is involved in a range of local community activities in an honorary capacity, including East London NHS Foundation Trust.  He takes an active role in supporting user groups within Trinity.

Mary Forse, Member
Mary has lived in Newham for many years. She worked as a Counsellor for the Diocese of Chelmsford in Newham and later developed her own practice.  She is a volunteer counsellor for Childline.  She is very interested in environmental and social justice issues.

Roberto Cardenas, Member
Roberto works for a Children’s Centre in Camden.  He is also on the Management Committee of Carila, an organisation helping the Latino American, Spanish and Portuguese speaking communities in London.  In his spare time he teaches Spanish to children attending the Latino American Community School, an educational and cultural project based at Trinity.
